This is a private guided tour of Victoria Falls: one personal guide for the party, and no other clients joining. The guide covers both the human history and the geology of the falls, known locally as Mosi-oa-Tunya (the smoke that thunders) in the Kololo language, while most of the world uses the name Livingstone gave them in 1855. The falls can be watched from several scenic viewpoints, and the guide can also take the group to nearby attractions such as the Victoria Falls Bridge. One option for the adventurous is a natural rock pool for swimming, just inches from the edge of the falls. Bottled water and snacks are included. Guiding is available in German, English, Italian, French and Spanish. The tour takes up to 10 travelers per booking, is wheelchair accessible, and suits all fitness levels. It is not recommended for pregnant travelers. Infants sit on an adult's lap, infant seats are available, and mobile or paper tickets are accepted.

  1. Victoria Falls

The world mostly knows the falls by the name Livingstone gave them in 1855, but locally they are Mosi-oa-Tunya, the smoke that thunders, in the Kololo language. A local guide covers both the human history and the geology of one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Viewpoints show the water tumbling down, and some visitors swim in a natural rock pool inches from the edge. The guide can also lead the group to the nearby Victoria Falls Bridge and other attractions, on a private tour that adds a taste of Zambian culture.
