Puerto Plata 7 Waterfalls Hike and Slide with Buffet Lunch, 3.5 Hours, 5-Language Guides

This is the short version of Damajagua: seven waterfalls, about three and a half hours in total, and a buffet at the end. The walk from the tour station to the falls takes 40 minutes through thick forest, over bridges and past Dominican plants, and ends at the rocky top of a hill. From there the route runs downhill by water. Visitors jump into deep turquoise pools or slide down padded waterslides, wearing safety gear the whole way. The seven main pools were chosen to keep the day less tiring than a full circuit. Children must be 8 or older to do all seven. Younger ones can walk the 40 minutes up and stay at the first fall. After the falls comes lunch: a local buffet with several meats, rice, beans, french fries and salad. Transport is an air-conditioned vehicle, and bottled water, fees and taxes are included. Guiding is available in German, English, Italian, French and Spanish. Tips are not included. A moderate level of fitness is needed, and the tour is not recommended for travelers with spinal injuries, poor cardiovascular health or pregnancy. Up to 30 travelers can book together.
