Savegre River Whitewater Rafting, Class II-III, with Waterfall Stop near Manuel Antonio
The Savegre River starts out of a sparsely inhabited mountain valley and runs as whitewater through canyons, past waterfalls and through primary rainforest. This trip rafts a stretch of it, with Class II and III rapids that suit adventurous beginners as well as experienced rafters. Paddling hard over the waves is part of the deal. The trip includes a stop at a waterfall. Certified guides lead the rafts and a safety kayaker travels with the group. Certified equipment is provided. A snack and lunch are included, and air-conditioned transport picks guests up from hotels or houses in Manuel Antonio or Quepos and takes them back afterward.
