This ten-hour North Bali day is built around a trek to Sekumpul, a set of seven waterfalls up to 80 metres high. The route crosses rivers, rice paddies and plantations, with a choice between a medium and a long trek. The trekking guide fee for Sekumpul is paid separately and depends on the route chosen. Two temples follow. Ulun Danu is a pair of lakeside pagodas on the edge of mountain scenery, the shrines that turn up on postcards of Bali. The last stop is Taman Ayun, a water temple and a UNESCO Heritage Site, one of the best known in Bali. The day also stops by the Twin Lakes of Buyan and Tamblingan. Pickup and drop-off are included from Kuta, Legian, Seminyak, Jimbaran, Sanur, Kerobokan, Canggu, Nusa Dua and Ubud, and an extra charge applies from Lovina, Amed, Tulamben and Candidasa. The booking covers bottled water, insurance, an air-conditioned vehicle and an English-speaking guide. Entrance fees are included when that option is selected. Lunch and personal expenses are not. The day suits all fitness levels, and up to 5 travelers can book together.
