Self-Guided E-Bike Ride to Hole-in-the-Wall and Cabin Creek Falls, Cascade Locks
Ratings collected by Viator and Tripadvisor
PortlandThis e-bike ride starts at the trailhead of the Historic Highway State Trail, a path closed to cars, so the route avoids road traffic altogether. It heads east of the busiest waterfalls near Portland and so avoids the crowds that gather there. At Hole-in-the-Wall Falls riders can put their feet in the basin, and at Cabin Creek Falls they feel the cooling mist. The ride is self-guided. Riders set their own pace and decide how long to stay at each waterfall and viewpoint. Halfway along, the waterfront at Viento State Park is the stop for a picnic snack before the second half of the ride. The e-bikes carry saddlebags with room for extra food and drink, and guests booking through Viator receive local Conundrum trail mix. The starting point is at 750 Herman Creek Rd in Cascade Locks, and parking there needs no permit.
