Most of this two-hour tour is spent in the vehicle, and that is the point. It leaves Roseau for the Roseau Valley, skirts the edge of a rainforest that gets over 300 inches of rain a year, and reaches its sights with little or no walking. The guide points out plants, explains any animals seen on the way and takes questions on history and culture. Trafalgar Falls is 20 minutes from the city. The twin falls are seen from a distance, with a chance to look at local crafts and souvenirs. Anyone who wants to get closer can take the easy 10-minute trail, which carries a separate national park fee of 8 USD, not included in the booking because most guests prefer the distant view. Five minutes on, a minute-long trail leads to the Wotten Waven sulphur springs, where vents steam and water boils. The return takes 30 minutes to the Botanic Gardens, where the baobab that fell on a school bus in a category 5 hurricane in 1979 is pointed out. Five minutes more reaches Morne Bruce, with a bird's-eye view of Roseau and any cruise ship in port, plus the ruins of the British garrison and an old cannon. The drive back to the start takes ten minutes. An air-conditioned vehicle and a guide are included. The tour is wheelchair accessible, suits all fitness levels and takes up to 10 travelers, with guiding in English.
