Victoria Falls Guided Walk from the Main Entrance with a Local Guide

This three hour guided walk starts at the main entrance of Victoria Falls, where a local guide waits in a T-shirt that reads "Walking Tours". From there the guide leads the group through the park and explains the geology and wildlife of the falls and the history of the place. The park is safe and easy to walk alone, but the local knowledge a guide brings, passed down through generations, adds depth to what is in front of the visitor. The guide also takes the photographs, so couples and groups all end up in the frame. An early-morning start is an option for anyone who wants sunrise light on the falls. A local guide and bottled water are included. Entrance fees are not: internationals pay $50, regionals $30 and $10, and the government can change these fees at any time. The walk is wheelchair accessible, suits all fitness levels, and allows service animals and strollers. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Up to 15 travelers can join one booking, guiding is in English, and a mobile or paper ticket is accepted.
