Victoria Falls is one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World: a curtain of water about 1.5 km wide that drops 111 metres into the Batoka Gorge, with around 550 million litres going over the lip every minute. Spray from the falls sustains the rainforest around them all year, and some plant species growing there are rarely seen elsewhere in Zambia. At peak flow the Zambian side is at its most spectacular, and walkways lead to vantage points across the Knife Edge Bridge.
