Victoria Falls Zambia Tour with Boiling Pot Descent and Victoria Falls Bridge Views
The route drops to the river, about 700 meters below, to the spot called the Boiling Pot, then continues to the Victoria Falls Bridge. The bridge is over 100 years old and gives a second viewing point on the falls. The tour takes a maximum of two hours. Guests are collected from their lodge in a shuttle, and a guide leads a walk in the rainforest. Victoria Falls is Mosi Oa Tunya in the language of the Kololo people who lived in the area, "Smoke that Thunders". The falls spread across the Zambezi River, the fourth largest river in Africa, between Zambia and Zimbabwe, and are 1,708 meters wide and 108 meters high. They were named after Queen Victoria by the Scottish missionary David Livingstone. Private transportation, bottled water and parking fees are included. The tour is wheelchair accessible, strollers are fine, and infant seats are available. All fitness levels can join, up to 15 travelers can book together, and guiding is in English.

Victoria Falls
The Kololo people living around the falls called them Mosi Oa Tunya, "Smoke that Thunders". They count among the Seven Natural Wonders and span the Zambezi, the fourth largest river in Africa, on the border of Zambia and Zimbabwe. David Livingstone, the first European to cross Africa, named them after Queen Victoria. At 1,708 meters wide and 108 meters high, they are considered the largest falls. A guide leads the walk through the rainforest, after a shuttle ride from the lodge. The tour lasts up to two hours, with a descent of about 700 meters to the Boiling Pot and a visit to the Victoria Falls Bridge, over 100 years old, for another viewpoint.
