Victoria Falls Zambian Side Tour with Wildlife Stops, Soda and Craft Centre Visit
Ratings collected by Viator and Tripadvisor
LivingstoneThis tour concentrates on the Zambian side of Victoria Falls, where about 85% of the view of the falls can be enjoyed. Guests are collected from their hotel or lodge in an air-conditioned vehicle, driven a short way to the entrance, and guided through the rainforest of Victoria Falls National Park. Velvet monkeys and baboons are common at the falls, and elephants are sometimes seen on the way. The rainforest is soaked by constant spray, so raincoats and umbrellas can be hired on site or brought along, and waterproof cameras plus a plastic bag for gadgets are advised. The tour ends at the local arts and crafts centre. Soda, one plastic bottle per person, and all fees and taxes are included. A visa is not. Travelers staying outside Victoria Falls town in Zimbabwe pay an extra USD 5 for transport, due at pickup from the lodge. Groups run to 15 travelers and guiding is in English. The tour is not recommended for pregnant travelers or for people with spinal injuries or poor cardiovascular health.

Victoria Falls
A two-hour walk through the rainforest of Victoria Falls National Park gives views of the falls under a constant spray. Guests are collected from their hotel or lodge in an air-conditioned vehicle with chilled mineral water, then driven a short way to the entrance. Raincoats and umbrellas can be hired, or brought along. The rainforest is soaking wet, so waterproof cameras and an extra plastic bag for gadgets are recommended. The path reaches 16 viewpoints, including a head-on view of the 1.7 km wide main fall, seen from the Zimbabwean side, and the most photographed view of the falls. The drive back to the lodge passes the big tree, where the spray can still be seen, and a shopping stop can be added after the tour.
