2-Day Private Wadi Shab Trip from Muscat with Tiwi Overnight and Morning Fishing Boat

This two-day private trip combines Wadi Shab with a night in Tiwi village and a fishing outing the next morning. Day one leaves Muscat on the Qurayyat highway, with mountains on one side and the Arabian Sea on the other. The first stop is the Bimmah Sinkhole, a limestone crater with turquoise water, for photos, a swim or a stroll in the surrounding park. The coastal road continues, and Arabian gazelles may be seen along it. At Wadi Shab a short boat ride crosses the stream, then the hike runs through a canyon of tall cliffs, palms and streams, past small waterfalls and clear pools to a hidden cave with a waterfall inside. Lunch is at a local restaurant, then the group checks in at the hotel in Tiwi village and has time by the sea or in the rooms. In the evening the group goes out together for a traditional dinner. Day two starts with a fishing trip along the Tiwi coast. All the equipment is provided, and local experts explain traditional and modern techniques. On board there are Omani coffee, fresh dates and a light breakfast, and dolphins may appear. Back on shore, lunch is made with the morning's catch and other local dishes. The afternoon is a drive through Wadi Tiwi, with its cliffs, villages and plantations of date palms and bananas, before the return to Muscat in the evening.
