This four-day package includes three nights in a 3-star hotel, round-trip airport transfers, a professional guide in Portuguese, English or Spanish, lunch, and the sightseeing of both sides of the falls plus the Itaipu Panoramic Tour. The Itaipu dam supplies 95% of the electricity used in Paraguay and 24% of Brazil's, and its first generator started in 1984. The Panoramic Tour shows a documentary film and the dam and spillway from the central observation deck, without entering the facility. The Argentine day starts with the currency exchange for the park and the customs stops, then the train to the upper part of the falls and the footbridge to the Garganta do Diabo. The Circuito Superior has six observation spots. The prices are per person in a standard double room, with at least 2 people per booking, and up to 9 travelers. Park and Itaipu entrance fees, other food and drinks, tips, room tax and the Puerto Iguazu eco touristic tax are not included. The arrival flight should land by noon on the first day, so that the first activity can be done in the afternoon. The package is non-refundable once booked.

  1. Itaipu Dam

Round-trip transfers link Cataratas International Airport and your hotel, and an English-speaking representative holds a sign with your name. Itaipu was seen in the 1970s and 1980s, while under construction, as a pharaonic work. It supplies 95% of the electricity used in Paraguay and 24% of Brazil's, and its first generator began running in 1984. The company also runs the Bela Vista biological refuge, reforestation programs and an Eco-museum. The Panoramic tour shows a documentary film and the dam and spillway from the central deck, without going inside. The ticket is not included and is bought on the spot.

    Extra fee

  2. Iguazu Falls

The 275 waterfalls of Iguassu lie a few kilometers from where the Iguassu River joins the Parana. The geologic change that formed them took place nearly 150 million years ago and left a huge canyon of rock steps, with a cloud of steam and a deafening sound. The average flow is about 1,800 cubic meters per second and it grows in the rainy season. The biggest fall is the Devil's Throat, 90 meters high, whose drizzle can be seen from kilometers away.

    Extra fee

  3. Iguazu Falls

The guide meets you at the hotel and goes first to a currency exchange office for the Argentine currency needed at the national park, then to customs: Brazilian for foreigners, Argentine for everyone. Inside the park a train leaves every 30 minutes for the upper part of the falls, and a vehicle drives to the start of the trails. At the end of the trail is the Garganta do Diabo, the biggest fall in the park, on a footbridge of 2,080 meters. The second part is the Circuito Superior, with six observation spots to rest and enjoy the view.

    Extra fee

  4. For your return journey

On the return journey you are met at your hotel and taken straight to the airport for your flight home.
