Five days from Buenos Aires, with the long leg done by overnight bus. A private transfer picks you up at your lodging, and on the way to Retiro bus station one of the Destination Hosts reviews the itinerary and hands you printed documentation. The bus takes about 19 hours for roughly 1,400 km, with reclining seats (160 degrees or more) and a toilet on board. Two nights are in Puerto Iguazu, where breakfast, a bilingual guide in English and Spanish, the ecotourism tax and shared transfers are included. The Argentine day starts with the ecological train to the Devil's Throat, then the lower or upper circuit. The Brazilian half-day follows a half-mile viewing walkway that ends at Floriano Fall and its heavy mist. The overnight bus back reaches Retiro station, from where a private transfer takes you to your lodging in Buenos Aires, to Aeroparque airport or to the Cruise Port. Entrance fees to the national parks, tips and optional tours are not included. A passport is needed for the Brazilian side. Up to 4 travelers per booking. Not recommended for travelers with spinal injuries.
