Anahola Private Jungle Waterfall Hike with Charlie the Hawaiian Dundee, 4WD Jeep Transfer
A private outing in which the guest list is only the guest's own party. Charlie, known as the Hawaiian Dundee, is the only guide, and he drives a 2025 Mojave Jeep Gladiator from his home base in Anahola to the chosen trailhead. He picks the site himself after asking about interests, activity level and the weather, then leads the way through tropical jungle and lush forest, past cool streams, to a secluded waterfall and pool that no other group shares. The route is not fixed: if the weather turns, the site can change. Along the way the walk passes famous mountain peaks and landscapes used as movie backdrops, and hidden ancient Hawaiian archaeological sites, with the history of each told on the spot. Charlie also talks about the culture and wildlife of the islands. The operator describes the format as suited to travelers who want privacy, security and time alone in wild nature, including celebrities and LGBT travelers. Guests meet at the home base at the address given and are carried by 4WD vehicle to the site. The reservation should be confirmed 24 hours in advance, and all adventures are subject to weather conditions.
