Blue Hole, Fern Gully and Green Grotto Caves Tour from Montego Bay and Falmouth
Ratings collected by Viator and Tripadvisor
Montego BayThis guided tour follows the north coast of Jamaica from Montego Bay and Falmouth in an air-conditioned vehicle with a guide and round-trip transportation. The route begins with a drive through Fern Gully, a road that winds through a deep gorge under tall ferns. The main stop is the Blue Hole waterfall and mineral bath, and the entrance fee is included. Guests swim in the pools among green plants and falls, and the adventurous swing from Tarzan ropes into the water. The route also takes in the Green Grotto Caves, with limestone formations and an underground lake, and a pass through Runaway Bay on the coast. Lunch is at Scotchies Restaurant and is included: jerk chicken or jerk pork with one side such as rice and beans, festival, bammy or yam. Bottled water is included, while drinks and gratuities are not. Water shoes cost extra at the store. In Ocho Rios, hotel guests stop at the craft market for baskets and wood carvings, and cruise passengers do so if time permits. A duty free shopping stop sells souvenirs, jewelry and liquor. Bring towels and aqua shoes.
