The swim is the same in all of them. What changes the price is what is wrapped around it: a driver, a guide, a river raft, an ATV, a second park, or a three-hour road from Montego Bay. Blue Hole Ocho Rios tours: one place, three names, one false friend
The Blue Hole near Ocho Rios is also sold as Island Gully Falls and as Secret Falls. The listings treat Secret Falls as the end of a short walk through the woods behind the pool, about five minutes in one of them, and one operator sells the whole site as Chuck Norris Secret Falls. One ticket listing calls itself the Original Blue Hole, and a search for the name turns up two separate attraction websites, so if an operator does not say which entrance it uses, ask. A listing describes the water as flowing between the parishes of St. Ann and St. Mary.
Then there is the Negril Blue Hole, a mineral-spring pool at the other end of the island. It is a different place, and its listings are kept off this page.

What a ticket gets you into
The ticket listing is the clearest account of the place. It names a rope swing, a waterfall jump, a ramp jump, a rock jump, a natural bubble bath made by underwater springs, a river trail and a nature walk, and it includes life vests. A private Ocho Rios listing adds caves and a Tarzan swing, and says the activities take about an hour.
That is the real unit of the Blue Hole: an hour or so in cold water. Everything else on this page is how you get there and what you do before or after.
The ticket against a tour
If you have a driver, a taxi or a rental car, the under 30 EUR admission is the cheapest honest way in. The listing's meeting point is the Blue Hole itself, it notes that public transport runs nearby, and it carries 95 reviews at 4.5. The price of transport is then yours to arrange.
If you do not, the plain tours start at 30 to 60 EUR for a private 3-hour listing, with 213 reviews at 5.0, which asks for at least three adults and says in its notes that the entrance fee is not included. A shared three-hour listing from Dr.fun Tours is in the 60 to 120 EUR band and has 214 reviews at 4.8. Set that against the ticket: that listing is not a swim at the ticket's price, it is a swim for the ticket plus a driver, if its price covers the gate at all. We did not open every listing to check.
What the price buys
Length and price climb together
This is the page where the chart behaves. From the 1-hour ticket under 30 EUR the dots rise with length: the group at 3 to 3.5 hours, shared and private, sits at roughly 30 to 120 EUR, the 4 to 6-hour group at roughly 60 to 250 EUR, and the single 8-hour mark is the Martha Brae day, in the 120 to 250 EUR band. The dearest shared dot is an ATV combination at 4.5 hours.
The median sits in the 60 to 120 EUR band, but the one to read is the 3-hour cluster, because that is the version of the Blue Hole that is only the Blue Hole.
Add a second attraction: rafting, tubing, Konoko, a horse or an ATV
Nine of the 20 titles pair the pool with something else. The cheapest add-on is Konoko Falls, a separate park, in the 30 to 60 EUR band for 3.5 hours shared. A private Konoko combination, bamboo rafting and a horseback combination all sit in the 60 to 120 EUR band, for 3 to 3.5 hours, and tubing on the White River is in the same band for 4 hours and a step up, 120 to 250 EUR, for 5. The ATV listing, in the 120 to 250 EUR band for 4.5 hours, is the dearest shared product on the page.
Read the inclusions on these before the price. The 4-hour tubing listing, for example, lists only fees and taxes among its inclusions and names no meeting point, which fits a trip where you arrive on your own. A listing built around Reggae Hill, a beach club, is in the 60 to 120 EUR band for 3.5 hours, and the one lunch on the page is in a Montego Bay and Falmouth departure in the 120 to 250 EUR band.
From Montego Bay and Falmouth
The Blue Hole is on the Ocho Rios side of the island, so a Montego Bay trip is the same road as the Dunn's River one, covered with times on the Dunn's River from Montego Bay page. Three private listings from Montego Bay cost 60 to 120 EUR for 7 hours, 120 to 250 EUR for 6 and 120 to 250 EUR for 8 with rafting, and a shared Montego Bay and Falmouth departure with lunch is 120 to 250 EUR for 5 hours. By the listings' own timings, that is a day to buy about an hour in the water. Worth it only if you are combining it with something else.
Who runs the tours
Fifteen operators sell the 20 listings. Courtney Taylor Private Tours has four of them, with 21% of the reviews, and a fifth under a slightly different name adds 72 more. The three biggest single listings, from Omar Tours Jamaica, Dr.fun Tours and Chris Jamaica Tours, hold 214, 214 and 213 reviews, a third of the page between them, all at 4.8 or above. Ratings are high and flat: they say almost nothing about whether a listing includes the gate. Where a listing has few reviews, the number is a handful of people, so lean on what the listing itemizes.
Shoes, slipperiness and who should skip it
The listings agree on a few points. Wear a bathing suit under your clothes and bring a towel and water shoes. One warns that the path is slippery and the climb up the falls challenging. Several say the tour is not recommended for travelers with spinal injuries, for pregnant travelers or for people with poor cardiovascular health, and ask for a moderate level of fitness. One notes infants up to 2 years travel free and children must be with an adult.
They disagree on access and fitness. The ticket listing says the site is wheelchair accessible and suitable for all fitness levels, the tubing listing also says all levels, and the private Blue Hole listing asks for a moderate level. A pool, a rope swing and a wet path do not sit easily with the first claim. Ask the operator what access means before you assume it.

Can I go to the Blue Hole without a tour?
Yes. A stand-alone admission listing is under 30 EUR for an hour, with life vests and a guide included, and its meeting point is the Blue Hole itself. You arrange your own transport.
Are entrance fees included in the tours?
Not always. The 3-hour private tour says they are not. The 4-hour private tour lists the Blue Hole and Secret Falls entrance in the price. Check the inclusions line of each listing.

Is the Blue Hole open after Hurricane Melissa?
We found no official statement. Dunn's River, run by the Urban Development Corporation, reopened on 11 November 2025, but the Blue Hole is privately run and outside that notice. Ask the operator about your date.
