Blue Hole Pools and Reggae Hill River Garden Day Trip from Ocho Rios with Pickup
Two stops share a day out from Ocho Rios, with pickup. The first is the Blue Hole, a limestone sinkhole named for the deep azure of its water. Guests climb the cascades, jump from the rocks into natural pools, swim under the waterfall and explore hidden caves and tunnels under the water, or sit on a rock beneath the falls. The second is Reggae Hill, a private park and garden along the White River with a swimming hole and a restaurant. A chair is set out for each guest among the native plants and trees, some of them a hundred years old. Guests can dip in the river, listen to reggae, watch light entertainment and buy lunch if they want it. The kitchen serves nuevo-Caribbean dishes, and the bar pours cocktails, wine, local beer and juices at table or in a cabana. A short shopping stop on the road is possible if time permits.
