Blue Hole Waterfalls, White River Tubing and Fern Gully Drive from Ocho Rios

The Blue Hole, known also as Island Gully, Hidden Falls and Secret Falls, sits in the hills of the White River Valley. Hotel or port pickup and drop-off, bottled water, a driver and guide with live commentary, and all fees and taxes are included. Lunch, alcoholic drinks and tips are not. The drive climbs through rainforest, with a chance to taste tropical fruit, and the place remains in pristine condition. At the Blue Hole a guide leads the hike up the cascading waterfalls. Guests can swim in one or more of the blue pools, jump off the falls, swing on a Tarzan rope, explore the cave or stand under the falls. A 5 minute trek leads up to more falls and pools. Along the trails, stalls sell jelly coconuts and beer. The next stop is the White River, where guests float down a lazy river on inner tubes while the guide plays reggae. That part lasts about 45 minutes. The road home passes through Fern Gully, which holds over 300 species of ferns and other plants, with an optional stop at craft vendors. Bring water shoes, sun cream, a camera and a towel. A minimum of two people per booking.
