Brazilian Side of Iguassu Falls and Macuco Safari Boat Ride with Tickets, Foz do Iguacu
Ratings collected by Viator and Tripadvisor
Foz do IguacuTwo separate adventures are joined in this ticketed outing that starts at hotels in Foz do Iguassu. The first happens on the Brazilian side of the national park, which together with the Argentine side forms the largest waterfall system in the world and one of the New 7 Wonders of Nature. The visit begins at the Visitors' Center, where displays explain the park. Along the way come birds, butterflies and small mammals such as coatis. A walkway leads to the Devil's Throat, and the panoramic elevator gives a new angle of the falls before the group reaches the Porto Canoas gastronomic center and the park's souvenir shop. Meals there are not included. The second adventure is Macuco Safari. An open-air towed car drives through the forest, past orchids, bromeliads, centenary trees and sometimes wild animals. At Porto Macuco the group boards a boat on the Iguassu River for views and photos. The boat gets close to the Three Musketeers falls so that everyone gets a brief soak. All tickets are included, which means no stop at the box office. A full refund applies to cancellations at least 24 hours before departure.
