This trip starts on the Argentine side. Guests are picked up at their hotel in Puerto Iguazu and driven to the Brazilian border, so a passport is essential. Immigration formalities take place at customs, and the wait can run from half an hour to several hours depending on the season and the number of people. Inside Iguacu National Park, a bus carries visitors to the viewing walkways. The walkways take about 1.5 to 2 hours and face the falls head on, with panoramic views of the water coming over from the Argentine side. The Devil's Throat is part of the view, and the circuit finishes at a viewpoint beside Floriano Fall, where the heavy mist soaks anyone standing close. The group is then driven back to Puerto Iguazu. The total duration can change with customs delays and hotel location. Comfortable clothes and shoes, insect repellent, a sunhat, sunscreen and sunglasses are recommended. A full refund applies to cancellations at least 24 hours before departure.
