Charco Azul Cave Tubing and Waterfall Hike from Doramar Plaza, Dorado
Ratings collected by Viator and Tripadvisor
San JuanThis outing is more than tubing. The operator compares it to a Jurassic adventure. The route goes through the underground cave formations of Charco Azul in Vega Baja and the Arenales caves, with waterfalls along the way. Guests float on tubes through calm water and paddle by hand through the caves and along the river. Between the floats come hiking on trails and climbing over difficult terrain to get in and out of the forest, plus waterfalls and cliff jumping. The level is moderate to challenging. Participants must be 13 to 65 years old, with a maximum weight of 250 pounds, and closed shoes are required. The day is not recommended for anyone with a surgery or condition that makes hiking and climbing on difficult terrain hard. The adventure takes about 4 hours.
