Dalat Canyoning Day Trip: Hotel Pickup, 25 m Abseil, 50 m Zipline and Washing Machine

Pickup is at the hotel in Dalat city center at around 8:30 AM, followed by a 20-minute van ride to the start. Harness, helmet and carabiners go on first, and the guide teaches abseiling until satisfied that it is understood. The rest of the day is a sequence: an 18 m dry abseil, a swim at a 30 m waterfall, a 50 m zipline and a 5 m water slide down the falls. A picnic lunch of baguette, cheese, fruit, vegetables and jam comes next. After lunch there is the 25 m abseil beside the waterfall, a 7 m free jump into the water and, last and hardest, a 14 m rappel nicknamed The Washing Machine. A 20-minute uphill trek leads back to the van and the ride to the hotel. The price covers the wetsuit, rappelling gear (locking carabiners, European ropes and professional rigging), travel insurance, forest and tourist permits, a first aid kit, water, and photos and video. Guiding is in English. Gratuities are not included. A booking holds up to 30 travelers, and a moderate level of fitness is needed.
