Dalat Countryside and 3 Waterfalls Group Tour: Pongour, Elephant Falls, Silk and Coffee
The 8:30 AM start is from the operator's office, and the loop heads out through Ta Nung, Nam Ban and Duc Trong before it comes back to Da Lat. On the way the road passes forests, flower farms, terraced vegetable gardens and coffee gardens on the hillsides. The stops are Paradise Lake, a minority village known as Chicken Village, Pongour Waterfall, a silk factory that still makes silk the traditional way, Elephant Waterfall, Linh An Pagoda with its giant happy Buddha (the tallest lady Buddha in Vietnam), a cricket farm where rice wine is cooked, and a coffee plantation with a weasel coffee farm. Handicraft weaving by the ethnic minority is part of the program. Datanla Waterfall is an optional extra stop, and its entrance fee and the alpine coaster ticket are paid separately. The day takes about six hours in an air-conditioned vehicle with an English-speaking guide, and entrance fees are included, apart from Datanla. Food and drinks are not covered. A booking holds up to 10 travelers, and the trip suits all fitness levels.
