El Yunque River Pools, Rope Swings and Rock Slide with Fruit, Pickup and Luquillo Stop

Pickup is part of this one: round-trip transportation from select pickup locations, with meeting points in Fajardo (corner of Carr. 3 and C. Igualdad) and in Luquillo (889 Calle 2). Guests who bring their own car should know that parking is $5 per car and is not included. The guide is a licensed Puerto Rican local and the operator describes the groups as small, with a limit of 30 travelers per booking. The day runs about 6 hours and includes a stop at a local breakfast spot. In the forest the route follows lush trails to river pools and waterfalls, with rope swing areas, optional cliff jump spots and a natural rock waterslide. Life vests are provided, and the operator says no experience is needed. At the river, fresh-cut seasonal fruit is served to the group, with water. Entry fees and photos taken by the guide are included in the price. Gratuities are optional. Afterwards there is an optional stop near Luquillo Beach, up to about 1 to 2 hours. Guests can rest, look around or buy lunch on their own, and they can stay at the beach after the tour ends. Food bought there is not part of the price. Private tours can be requested for a more personalized outing. The tour is not recommended for travelers with spinal injuries, knee problems, vertigo or poor cardiovascular health, or for pregnant travelers. Guiding is in English and Spanish.
