Gravity Falls Waterfall Jumping and Canyoning Tour, Small Group from La Fortuna

Gravity Falls adds jumping to the usual rappel. Guides lead a small group of up to 10 to a hidden canyon deep in the jungle, where the route goes down and off a series of waterfalls and cliffs into the fresh water below. In between come river tracing, bouldering and a hike along a rainforest canyon, with stops to swim in clear blue pools. Expect to get wet, hair included. The day runs about six hours. The price covers a professional guide, all necessary equipment, lunch, tropical fruit and transport in an air-conditioned minivan. Hotel pickup and drop-off is limited to select hotels, and gratuities are extra. The meeting point is downtown La Fortuna, 100 meters west of the Central Park, behind the Catholic Church. It is billed as one of Costa Rica's most extreme tours. The minimum age is 16 and travelers should have a high level of fitness, though all levels of experience are welcome. It is not recommended for pregnant travelers or for anyone with spinal injuries or poor cardiovascular health. Wear sturdy shoes (tennis shoes or shoes with straps), bring a change of clothes and mention dietary requirements when booking. Guiding is in English and Spanish.
