La Fortuna Canyoning with Tree and Hanging Bridge Rappels, Waterfall and Lunch

A forest canyon with clear water and a waterfall is the setting for this La Fortuna rappelling trip, and the descents change character as they go: one from a tree, one from a hanging bridge and three down the waterfall, about 100 meters in total. The trip ends with a car ride through the cloud forest. The whole outing takes around five and a half hours. The price covers hotel pickup and drop-off, a professional guide, lunch, and all taxes, fees and handling charges. A vegetarian option is available if requested at booking. Pickup is included for hotels in central La Fortuna. Hotels outside the center carry an extra charge, and so does a booking for fewer than two people, because of transportation costs. Several extras at the same site cost more: a DVD of the trip, rafting (level 3 or 4), a canopy zipline with the long Superman cable and bungee. The tour suits all fitness levels, but it is not recommended for pregnant travelers. Up to 15 travelers can join per booking, and guiding is available in Portuguese, English, Italian and Spanish, sometimes by a multilingual guide. Service animals are allowed and public transportation runs nearby.
