Half-Day Dunn's River Falls and Blue Hole Combo from Ocho Rios and Runaway Bay

Cruise passengers and hotel guests in the Ocho Rios and Runaway Bay area can fit both of these waterfalls into roughly a half-day. Pickup and drop-off at the hotel or port are by air-conditioned vehicle with a driver and guide, and entrance fees and a life jacket are included. At Dunn's River Falls, guests get a wristband at the ticket booth, then climb 600 feet of terraces from the base of the falls on the beach with a falls guide, forming a human chain, with a swim in a scenic lagoon along the way. Anyone who wants to stay dry can walk the site and take photos of the greenery and falls instead. At the Blue Hole, a guide takes over for a hike up the waterfalls, cliff jumps and dives, the underwater cave, swimming and the Tarzan rope swing. The cascades also work as a back massage. Along the way the driver can stop for souvenir shopping or a local restaurant, where lunch is bought at the guests' own cost. Food, drinks, gratuities, souvenir photos and DVDs are not included. The tour is not recommended for children aged 2 and under, pregnant travelers or those with poor cardiovascular health or spinal injuries. Cruise passengers must give the ship name and the docking, disembarkation and re-boarding times when booking, and a full refund is offered if the ship cannot dock.
