Hidden Waterfall 2.0 Mountain Hike with Boulders and a 150-Foot Fall
Ratings collected by Viator and Tripadvisor
San JuanHidden Waterfall 2.0 is built around a real mountain hike. The route runs over dirt trail and boulders, with climbing, in mountains about 1,700 feet above sea level, and it is not in the rainforest. The reward is a 150-foot waterfall to stand under, which works as a natural massage. The trail takes approximately 30 minutes, depending on fitness. It is not a beginner's hike, though it is not extreme either: expect fallen trees to cross, water to jump over and rock to scramble. A 14-passenger air-conditioned van makes the drive from San Juan, about 40 to 50 minutes. Back at the van after the falls, the group stops at an authentic Puerto Rican restaurant for lunch (at your own expense). The guide explains the food of the Puerto Rican countryside over the meal, and then drives everyone back to their place of stay.

A 14-passenger air-conditioned van climbs about 1,700 feet into the mountains, a 40 to 50 minute drive from San Juan. This hike is not in the rainforest. Only locals know the spot. The trail takes 40 to 60 minutes depending on fitness, with trees to climb over, water to jump across and fallen trunks to cross. The day covers the mountain countryside, local culture, local food and swimming in waterfalls. At the waterfall there is plenty of time to explore and take a dip.
