Reykjavik Excursions by Icelandia runs this full-day South Coast tour from the BSÍ Bus Terminal, a short walk from the city center, with a guided drive that covers five stops in around 10 hours. Skógafoss comes first: a 60-meter waterfall known for its mist and rainbows, and the start of the Fimmvörðuháls trail to Þórsmörk. The route continues to Vík and to Reynisfjara, the black sand beach with Reynisdrangar rock formations and columnar basalt, where powerful waves roll in. At Sólheimajökull, a glacier tongue of Mýrdalsjökull, a short walk leads to a small lake that formed as the glacier retreated. Seljalandsfoss ends the day. Its river rises in Eyjafjallajökull glacier, and the path behind the falls is what makes it famous. A raincoat or waterproof coat is recommended for that walk. Pickup from your accommodation or a bus stop is included, as are the bus fare, a guided tour, free Wi-Fi and a carbon neutral transfer arranged with Vaxa Technologies. Food and drinks are not included. The tour operates in all weather conditions, so dress for it. Strollers are fine for small children, infant seats are available, and bookings take up to 30 travelers. Guiding is in English.
