Kulen Mountain Waterfall Tour with Palm Sugar Village, All Tickets and Picnic Lunch

This eight-hour day trip leaves Siem Reap between 8:00 and 8:30 am (guests should be ready in the hotel lobby by 8:00) and heads for Kulen Mountain past rice paddies and wooden stilt houses. The first stop is a palm sugar village, where the process is shown from palm tree to golden crystals. Palm cake tasting and seasonal fruit are part of the day. On the mountain the route passes the Poeng Ta Kho cliff viewpoint, the Preah Ang Thom pagoda with its 8-meter reclining Buddha, and the River of 1000 Shiva Lingas, where carvings cover the riverbed. The last stop is the Phnom Kulen waterfall, with clear pools for swimming and a picnic of local Khmer food on smooth rocks beside the falls. The menu includes grilled chicken with special sauces, and vegetarian meals are available if requested in advance. All attraction tickets, hotel pickup and drop-off, an English-speaking guide, air-conditioned transport (car, minivan or bus), cold water and towels are included. Soft drinks are not. The tour is not recommended for pregnant travelers, people with spinal injuries or poor cardiovascular health, and bookings take up to 15 travelers.
