La Fortuna Waterfall and AirTime Zipline Canopy Tour with Lunch at El Perezoso
Ratings collected by Viator and Tripadvisor
La FortunaThe morning starts on foot and ends in the air. First comes a hike through rainforest to La Fortuna Waterfall, a 70-meter cascade with a pool below where swimming is possible. Right after the hike, the group moves on to the AirTime zipline course, a series of cables run over the treetops with views of Arenal Volcano and Cerro Chato. Expert guides handle safety, and gear and safety equipment are part of the booking. Lunch is at Restaurante El Perezoso, a local favorite in the La Fortuna area. The traditional Costa Rican meal is made with fresh local ingredients and a choice of proteins, with a drink; vegetarian and vegan versions are available on request. The booking also covers the waterfall admission ticket, a professional bilingual guide, transportation and secure vehicle parking. A towel, bottled water and gratuities for guides and drivers are not included. The outing takes around four hours. It is not recommended for travelers with spinal injuries, poor cardiovascular health or pregnancy, and a moderate level of fitness is expected. Up to 15 travelers per booking, with guiding in English and Spanish.
