Materuni Waterfall Hike, Coffee Farm and Chemka Hot Springs with Arusha or Moshi Transfers

A full day in the Kilimanjaro foothills for culture enthusiasts and active travelers. Transport from a hotel in Arusha or Moshi, round trip, and lunch are part of the price. The day starts with the hike to Materuni Waterfalls and a swim in the pool. A local farm follows, where the guide explains Tanzania's coffee industry. Grinding the coffee is traditionally accompanied by Chagga songs and dances. Guests then drink the coffee they made, with the surrounding rainforest in view. The afternoon is spent at the Kikuletwa Hot Springs, also known as Chemka. Guests can doze in the sun, chat with locals at the small bar, or swim. The group leaves just before sunset.
