This four-hour tour of Niagara Falls on the Canadian side runs in a Mercedes luxury van, with up to 7 travelers per booking. Guiding is in English. It opens at the Skylon Tower. A glass elevator climbs 520 feet to the observation deck, where all three falls, the Niagara River and the country around them lie in one view. Next is Journey Behind the Falls: a 125-foot descent into cave-like tunnels where the falls can be heard and felt as well as seen. Both entries skip the ticket line. The third attraction is a 20-minute Niagara City Cruises (Hornblower) boat ride around the gorge, as close to the falls as the boat can get, into the mist. The boat runs from May to November. In the winter months it is replaced by Niagara Takes Flight, which children under 100 cm and infants cannot take. The last stretch is a narrated drive. The guide points out the Dufferin Islands, the International Control Dam, the Old Scow, the Whirlpool Rapids, the Niagara River Parkway and the Floral Clock. Pickup and drop-off at Niagara Falls hotels on the Canadian or US side, or at the central meeting point in Toronto, is available as an option when booking. Food and drink can be bought but are not included, and gratuities are optional. Collapsible wheelchairs can be accommodated when the passenger has someone to help them board.
