Niagara Falls Day Tour from Toronto with Winery Tasting, Cruise and Three-Course Lunch
Ratings collected by Viator and Tripadvisor
TorontoThis ten-hour day tour from Toronto packs in a winery tasting, a three-course lunch overlooking the falls, a boat ride and a stop in Niagara-on-the-Lake. The wine tasting happens at the Niagara College Teaching Winery, Brewery and Distillery, where staff explain how the wines are made and the history of the building. Lunch is an appetizer, an entree, dessert and a drink, with a vegetarian meal available, served at the Queen Victoria Place Restaurant in spring and summer or the Table Rock House Restaurant in fall and winter. The Hornblower boat ride runs from May to November and lasts 20 minutes, with views of the Niagara Gorge, the American and Bridal Veil Falls and the Horseshoe Falls, and a mist poncho is provided. In winter, Journey Behind the Falls replaces it. The rest of the time goes to Table Rock Welcome Centre at the brink of the Horseshoe Falls and to historic Niagara-on-the-Lake, which has boutique shops and old buildings to explore. A Niagara Parks Commission licensed guide gives commentary in English on the air-conditioned bus, with photo stops along the way. Pickup is from selected downtown Toronto locations, and the group returns to where it started. WiFi on board is not included.
