Niagara Falls Day Trip from Toronto with Journey Behind the Falls and Boat Cruise Upgrade
Ratings collected by Viator and Tripadvisor
TorontoA full-day trip from Toronto to the Canadian side of Niagara Falls, with licensed guides and pickup from downtown Toronto. The main attraction is Journey Behind the Falls: an elevator drops 125 feet to limestone tunnels cut about 130 years ago, and an observation deck sits 30 stories below the river, level with the base of the Horseshoe Falls. Skip-the-line entry is an option, and so is the Niagara City Cruise, the former Maid of the Mist, a boat ride of about 20 minutes to the foot of the falls that can be added or combined with the tunnels. No passport is needed for the Canadian side. Before the falls the group stops at Maple Leaf Place for a guided maple syrup tasting, where the guide explains the different types of syrup. Afterward there is time away from the group for lunch and wandering on Clifton Hill. Other stops include the Floral Clock, built from more than 15,000 flowers, a photo stop at the Whirlpool Rapids (the Aero Car ride is not included), Queenston Heights Park with its limestone gorge, and a final photo stop at the Horseshoe Falls. The Skylon Tower, 236 meters tall, is another option.
