Niagara Falls Guided Day Tour from Toronto with Optional Boat Cruise and Add-Ons
A guided day tour from Toronto to Niagara Falls where the guest builds the afternoon from a menu of add-ons. A licensed local guide gives the history on the way. The pickup is from selected central locations in downtown Toronto, then the route runs along the Niagara River with views of Queenston Heights and Brock's Monument. A stop at the historic Niagara Parks Power Station covers the stories behind its turbines, and a visit to Maple Leaf Place has a maple syrup tour and tasting with treats such as fudge, poutine, maple beer or, as an option, ice wine. At the falls the group spends about 3 hours on its own. The Hornblower Niagara Cruise, Voyage to the Falls, can be added, closed from December to May 5 and replaced by the Power Station Tunnel or the Butterfly Conservatory. Other choices are Journey Behind the Falls, the Skylon Tower, Niagara's Fury, the zipline, Hershey's Chocolate Factory, the Botanical Garden and the Butterfly Conservatory. Clifton Hill has the Niagara SkyWheel, a casino, Ripley's Believe It or Not and an arcade. Pickup times run from 7:30 AM, and some pickups are not available on Sundays.
