This full-day trip from Toronto to Niagara Falls runs in a minibus with a small group and a guide who knows the area. The day is built around the Hornblower Niagara Cruise, Journey Behind the Falls and the Skylon Tower, with the guide handling the ticketing so the group goes straight to the boarding area and entrances instead of the general admission booths. Pickup is downtown near Union Station, about a five-minute walk from the station, at Harbour Front. On the way the group stops at a local maple syrup factory and a chocolate factory for tastings, the Niagara Whirlpool, the Floral Clock, which is about 40 feet across and changes its design twice a year, and drives through the Niagara Glen Nature Reserve and along the Niagara Parkway above the rapids. At the falls the group gets 3 hours to explore on their own, with the Canadian and American Falls, Table Rock, the Niagara SkyWheel, Clifton Hill and other attractions within reach. From April to November the cruise is the boat ride; in winter Journey Behind the Falls takes its place if that option is selected. The Skylon observation deck is reached by glass elevator, up to 770 feet.

  2. Niagara City Cruises

  4. Table Rock Welcome Centre

Table Rock puts you right beside the falls, close enough to feel the spray.

Journey Behind the Falls on the Canadian side is the most popular option and runs all year. The 60-minute ticket window line is skipped because the guide has already arranged entry.
