Niagara Falls Small-Group Day Tour from Toronto with Boat Cruise and Fudge Tasting
A small-group day tour from downtown Toronto, about 9.5 hours long, run by Airlink Niagara Falls Tours in an air-conditioned bus with an experienced guide. The bus meets at the corner of Bay Street and Queens Quay West and arrives between 10:00 and 10:30 AM. The Hornblower Niagara boat cruise, the former Maid of the Mist, is included from May to November, with the line skipped, and in winter a similar attraction replaces it. Lunch at Niagara Falls is an option, and the choice is a three-course meal in a local restaurant overlooking the American Falls or a Canadian-style plate such as a maple burger, fries and a drink at Maple Leaf Place. After the cruise there are up to 3 hours to explore the brink of the falls, where several rainbows often show through the day, and Clifton Hill. The next stop is a tasting of local maple syrup, fudge and chocolate, followed by a drive along the Niagara Glen Nature Area and the Niagara Parkway with a photo stop at the Whirlpool. Sightseeing in the Niagara Parks is part of the day. Gratuities are not included, and the tour runs in all weather, so dress for it.
