Departures leave from the Red Coach Inn on Buffalo Avenue, where a Gray Line representative checks guests in 15 minutes before the start. The route is built around two attractions. The first is the Maid of the Mist, a cruise into the mist of Horseshoe Falls with a poncho for each guest. It sails May to October, and New York Power Vista takes its place from November to April. The second is the Cave of the Winds: seven decks down into the Niagara Gorge, then wooden walkways to the Hurricane Deck, a few feet from Bridal Veil Falls. The Niagara Falls Observation Tower, Luna Island, Goat Island and a drive past Three Sisters Island fill in the rest. The tour ends on Goat Island, and guests can stay longer or ride the Niagara Parks Scenic Trolley, which runs about every 30 minutes, back to the start. It usually runs by bus; if too few people book, it becomes a guided trolley and walking tour. Food, drinks, gratuities and hotel pickup are not included. A booking takes up to 9 travelers, guided in English.
