One-Way Sarajevo to Dubrovnik Tour with Konjic, Mostar, Blagaj, Počitelj and Kravica
This is a one-way day tour, so the journey from Sarajevo to Dubrovnik doubles as the sightseeing. It leaves Sarajevo in the morning and stops at five places in Herzegovina: Konjic, Mostar, Blagaj, Počitelj and the Kravice waterfall. The last stop is the passenger's address in Dubrovnik. Konjic comes first, followed by a restaurant known for its homemade pie, with a vegetarian option. Mostar gets a stop around the Old Bridge, the Old Bazaar and the Old Town, with stories about the city's cosmopolitan heritage. At Blagaj the 16th-century tekke sits at the source of the Buna, and a spot on the river bank a few kilometers away is recommended for lunch, with local trout and the traditional dessert smokvara. Počitelj brings an easy hike up to the Kula fort. Kravice, one of the biggest waterfalls in the region, is the final stop before the drive to Dubrovnik.

Konjic Bridge
The first stop is a short visit to Konjic, a place inhabited since prehistoric times where Herzegovina begins. It is known for its 17th-century six-arch Old Bridge and is a good introduction to the emerald-green Neretva. The route then continues to a restaurant famous for its homemade pie, with a vegetarian option.
-
Mostar Old Bridge
Mostar is known for its old Turkish houses and for the Old Bridge, Stari Most, which gave the city its name. The historic center grew from a long interplay of nature and human work, and its architecture was a symbol of tolerance, with Muslims, Christians and Jews living together. The focus is on the Old Bridge, the Old Bazaar and the Old Town, with stories of the city's cosmopolitan heritage.
-
Blagaj tekija
Blagaj is most likely named for its mild weather, since blaga means mild in Bosnian. It lies at the spring of the Buna, described as Europe's most powerful, clean and drinkable river spring, beneath rocks rising a few hundred meters. Its 16th-century tekke is a rare sacral-residential example of Islamic architecture in Bosnia and Herzegovina, built with Ottoman and Mediterranean elements. A few kilometers from Blagaj, lunch by the Buna is taken in the shade, with the sound of the river; local trout and the traditional dessert smokvara are recommended.
-
The historic urban site of Pocitelj
After lunch the route continues to Počitelj, a fortified medieval and Ottoman stone village. An easy hike leads up to the Kula, a silo-shaped fort on the hilltop that once housed watchmen and soldiers guarding against intrusions from the Neretva valley.
-
Kravice Falls
Kravice is one of the biggest waterfalls in the region.
