This guided day tour from Zagreb starts in Rastoke, a village of well-preserved watermills built where the Slunjčica meets the Korana, then continues to Plitvice Lakes National Park. The entrance ticket to the park is included, along with air-conditioned transport and a licensed English-speaking guide. In the park the guide leads a walk of about 8.5 km that covers all the Lower Lakes and the highlights of the Upper Lakes, through forest sections and along boardwalks over the water. The visit closes with a boat cruise across the largest lake and a ride in a panoramic vehicle. Some stretches are steep, so walking or hiking shoes are advised. Hotel pickup and drop-off from selected hotels apply only if the small group option is chosen. The bus group option meets at the bus station opposite the Ethnographic Museum in Zagreb, at Trg Mazuranic 14. Between November 1st and March 31st the panoramic vehicle and electric boats do not run, the tour is done on foot and lasts under four hours. Food and drinks can be bought along the way, and gratuities are not included. Groups are limited to 8 travelers per booking.
