Private Black River Safari, YS Falls and Pelican Bar Day from Montego Bay with Entry Fees
This private full day from Montego Bay is the all-fees version of the South Coast circuit: Black River, YS Falls and Floyd's Pelican Bar, with the entrance fees to all three already paid. Hotel pickup and drop-off, a private vehicle and a cooler of drinks with a local lunch are part of the booking. The first stop is the Black River Safari, a four-mile boat trip with a captain who gives the history and commentary. A visit to the Crocodile Nursery follows. At YS Falls the choices are climbing the waterfalls, swimming in the pools, the spring pool and the gardens. A zip line is available at an extra cost, and the falls are closed on Mondays. The day finishes at Floyd's Pelican Bar, reached by a boat ride of about 20 minutes, where a cocktail or a cold Red Stripe is the usual order. Drinks at the bar are not included. The booking is for 2 to 15 travelers and the guiding is in English. Souvenirs and gratuities for the driver and local guides are extra. Minimum drinking age is 18, and a moderate level of fitness is expected. It is not recommended for pregnant travelers or for people with spinal injuries or poor cardiovascular health.

Black River
The Black River Safari runs four miles up the river in St. Elizabeth. The captain tells a short history and talks through the sights, and the boat looks for crocodiles and other wildlife. After the ride the Crocodile Nursery lets visitors get close to rehabilitated crocodiles, with a photo opportunity holding a small one.

YS Falls
YS Falls is a seven-tiered waterfall in rugged green country on the South Coast. The water drops into natural swimming pools, and the Natural Spring Pool is about 4 feet deep. A canopy zip line passes 40 feet above the falls, and the gardens have ginger lily walkways. Note: YS Falls is closed on Mondays.
