Private Gozalandia Falls and La Poza del Obispo Day with a Local Guide
This private day pairs Gozalandia Falls with La Poza del Obispo, a natural pool by the sea. Only the booked party travels, up to 6 travelers in an air-conditioned vehicle with a local expert guide who shows Puerto Rico through a local's eyes. The walk at Gozalandia is moderate, with fresh water and waterfalls under thick foliage. La Poza del Obispo sits next to a lighthouse, where a natural wave breaker and rock formations create a shallow area for swimming. Conditions change with the weather, so caution is needed. The day includes a stop at an authentic local eatery, plus soda, bottled water and snacks. Food at the eatery is paid separately, and dietary restrictions should be mentioned to the guide. Not included are gratuities, snorkeling equipment, WiFi and a restroom on board. Towels, sunscreen and sundries are available on request, and an additional cost may apply. Standard physical fitness is needed, with moderate hiking, bending and walking on uneven terrain. The day is not recommended for travelers with spinal injuries or poor cardiovascular health. Specialized infant seats are available. Guiding is in English or Spanish.
