Private Materuni Waterfall Hike, Coffee Farm and Kikuletwa Hot Springs Tour from Moshi (12/12)

A private day out around Moshi that pairs a waterfall with hot-spring swimming. After pickup, the car heads to Materuni village for a short hike that the operator calls challenging. The reward is a view of Materuni Falls. Next comes a coffee farm, where the guide explains how coffee is grown, harvested and processed. Guests then try roasting beans and preparing a cup of fresh local coffee themselves. From Materuni the road to the Kikuletwa Hot Springs takes about an hour and 20 minutes, partly over bumpy slopes. The afternoon is unstructured: lie in the sun, talk with locals at the small bar, or swim. The trip leaves the springs in the late afternoon, just before sunset, and the drive finishes at the airport. Private transport, a guide, lunch, bottled water and alcoholic beverages are included in the price. Flights, visa fees and tips are not. The tour runs for around 8 hours, guiding is in English, and up to 6 travelers fit on one booking. Swimwear, hiking shoes and a towel are worth packing.
