Private Piñones Beach Buggy Ride and El Yunque Waterfall Tour, 1 Hour Buggy
Two different landscapes share this private day: a beach buggy ride along the coast at Piñones, in Loíza, followed by a waterfall stop in El Yunque. Only your own group is on the booking, which takes up to 6 travelers, and one driver and guide stays with it throughout. The whole day takes about 6 hours. The buggy part comes first. It lasts one hour and runs along golden beaches and palm-lined trails on sandy paths. Each buggy seats 2 people, and every rider must weigh 225 lbs (102 kg) or less. The rainforest part is different from the usual El Yunque waterslide trips, and the operator says plainly that this is not the waterslide spot. The destination here is crystal-clear waterfalls and natural pools, where the private guide leads a walk through the tropical surroundings. The day ends with Puerto Rican food at a local restaurant. The price covers bottled water, fruit and snacks such as granola bars, a media pack of pictures and videos, the one-hour buggy ride, the driver and guide, and an air-conditioned vehicle with pick-up and drop-off from accommodation in Old San Juan, Condado, Isla Verde or Río Grande. The meeting point is listed in Canóvanas. A moderate level of fitness is needed, and the tour is not recommended for pregnancy, spinal injuries or poor cardiovascular health. Guiding is in English and Spanish.
