Private Rastoke and Plitvice Lakes Tour from Zagreb with Hotel Pickup
A private trip to Plitvice Lakes with pickup directly from the hotel. The guide leads the visit as a local, steering away from the standard tourist routes to quieter corners of the park and leaving time for photos without other people in the frame. The park is known for 16 lakes arranged in cascades and linked by waterfalls, formed where several small rivers and underground karst rivers meet. Its forests hold 75 endemic plants, 55 orchid species, 160 bird species, and even bears and wolves. The first stop is Rastoke ethno village, nicknamed Little Plitvice, for its well-preserved mills and small waterfalls. Water flows through the yards of houses where people live, and some mills still grind grain. Travelers can also swim in the Korana river, where a diving board reaches up to 5 meters. Guests staying in Zagreb's pedestrian zone can pick the meeting point in front of the Meteorological station in Zrinjevac Park, or request a pickup instead. The tour ends back at the departure point or at the hotel. Park entrance fees are an extra charge. Cancellation is free up to 24 hours before the scheduled departure.
