Private Spring Paradise Sloth Park, Coffee and Cacao Farm and Llanos de Cortez Waterfall
Ratings collected by Viator and Tripadvisor
TamarindoLittle effort is needed on this private tour. The walk to the Llanos de Cortes waterfall takes about 5 minutes, and the chocolate and coffee plantation and the sloth and wildlife park are reached by a stroll through the jungle rather than a hike. The route pulls together Spring Paradise, a rainforest site in Bijagua between the Miravalles and Tenorio volcanoes, with easy paths where frogs, snakes, birds and sloths turn up; the Café and Cacao Tour in Bijagua, where guests follow the growing of cacao and coffee beans and taste both chocolate and coffee; and the waterfall near Bagaces, reached by a well-marked trail that suits all ages. Lunch is at El Sabor de Doña Carmen, which serves typical Costa Rican food and has a butterfly garden to look at while waiting for the meal. Along the way guests may also see butterflies, toucans and sloths.
