Pure Trek Rainforest Falls Combo: Waterfall Rappel, Jumps and Lunch, La Fortuna

This seven-hour combo pairs Pure Trek canyoning with a day at the Rainforest Falls river. The drive leads to a rainforest river with lockers, outdoor showers and modern bathrooms. The main descent is a 25-meter waterfall rappel, and afterwards come swimming, rock leaping and up to four optional jumps from 1 to 10 meters. The day is fuelled by snacks, fresh tropical fruit and a Costa Rican lunch at the base in La Fortuna. The price includes a guided adventure, life jackets and helmet, private transportation and all fees and taxes. A photographer works the site, though photos are sold separately. Pickup from outside the covered zone costs extra. The meeting point is 300 meters northeast of Hotel Volcano Lodge in La Palma. Up to 15 travelers can join per booking and a moderate level of fitness is expected. The day is not recommended for pregnant travelers or for anyone with spinal injuries or poor cardiovascular health. Guiding is in English and Spanish.
