Rainforest Falls Two-Waterfall Rappel and Jump Tour with Lunch, La Fortuna

A scenic drive from the La Fortuna base leads to a rainforest river with lockers, outdoor showers and modern bathrooms. The first waterfall rappel drops 35 meters (115 ft), and a second one follows at 15 meters (49 ft). After that the river becomes a playground: swim, leap from rocks or try the optional jumps, which run from 1 to 10 meters. Four optional jumps are included. Back at the base, the group eats fresh tropical fruit and a Costa Rican lunch. The price also covers a guided adventure, an air-conditioned vehicle and swimming in the river's clear water. A photographer takes pictures along the way, but they are sold separately, and gratuities are not included. The outing takes about five hours and starts 300 meters northeast of Hotel Volcano Lodge in La Palma. Everyone must know how to swim. Up to 15 travelers can join per booking, and a moderate level of fitness is expected. It is not recommended for pregnant travelers or for anyone with spinal injuries or poor cardiovascular health.
