Sao MiguelThis full-day small-group tour follows the rivers and waterfalls of São Miguel with a local guide. It starts at Cascata do Limbo and then takes the Moinho do Félix trail. Later stops are the secluded Praia da Viola and the Barragem da Fajã do Redondo, and the day ends at Salto do Cabrito. Short hikes, forest trails, waterfalls and coastal scenery fill the day. Lunch is a picnic prepared by a local restaurant and eaten outdoors along the route. The tour runs in a modern 100% electric van with a maximum of 8 guests per vehicle. Some paths are uneven, muddy or slippery after rain, so a moderate level of fitness and suitable footwear are recommended.
